Job description:
- Troubleshoot, support, and maintain existing MediaWiki instance.
o Fix bugs in 3rd-party extensions.
o Implement single-sign-on
o Adapt current MediaWiki rich text editor to IE
- Create step-by-step documentation to set-up a virtual server with Red Hat Linux, Apache Httpd, MySQL, PHP, MediaWiki, Lucene search, and Zend Studio
- Transfer knowledge to existing team on accomplished tasks.
Required Skills:
- Experience maintaining and supporting MediaWiki and 3rd party in a corporate environment
- Advanced to expert-level development skills in PHP and JavaScript using OOP principles
- Advanced skills in MySQL and DB design principles
- Intermediate skills in Unix administration and Apache Httpd configuration
