Job Description:

PLEASE NOTE: Developers will work remote but must be willing and available to report in to a client office (TX, GA or AL) on demand only. Client does NOT expect to do that except when there is an urgent problem that requires gathering the team together.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Possess strong and indepth UNIX and core Java developer skills

- Expert/senior-level developer with strong, in depth UNIX and core Java developer skills and algorithm background.

- Should have solid Java/object-oriented programming experience.

- Exposure to NoSQL systems such as Cassandra is a plus.

- Needs to be able to work independently and is self-motivated.

- Should have extensively worked on distributed systems.
