JOB DESCRIPTION
The Client is seeking a Consultant for three to six months to create, maintain, manage and support reports mostly created in-house using SQL Reporting Services.
Work will primarily consist of managing reports associated with our CMMS system (Maximo). There may be additional maintenance and modifications to existing applications and sites.
Required skills include:
• A minimum of five years experience in a production development environment
• Ability to design, create, and manage reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
• Ability to document deliverables - both developer and end user document (both developer and end user documents)
• Ability to create list layout reports
• Ability to create graphical layout reports (chart, bar, line, etc)
• Ability to integrate multiple report definitions into a single report object.
• Ability to reverse engineer reports developed in Excel
• Ability to develop complex SQL statements to efficiently retrieve data from SQL Server.
• Ability to develop and deliver Report Model projects.
• Understand SSRS's Security module used to restrict access to specialized reports
• Understand SSRS's Subscription mechanism.
• Ability to develop processes to take summary data snapshots of the database.
• Knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel
