Rate-$65 per hr

Senior GP Solutions Architect *Load data from 5 disparate sources into
GPDB.Data is to be delivered by Purdue in 20 delimited flat files.
Working hand in hand with data scientist during exploration phase of a
Lab 600 to ensure data is loaded correctly with proper distribution
keys defined, and optimized tuning of the GP environment. This will be
a newly provisioned DCA (1/2 rack in the Prudue environment). Superior
soft skills to work with client resources in knowledge transition
tasks


Position2:
Remote Opportunity. Expenses will be paid for any occasional travel to
client site.
Hadoop/ Big Data

Remote: ($50 per hr)
Architect to review the data needs to design the HD/HAWQ environment
reqiurements(we have Arch already). Then have the Sr. Consultant work
with GE to setup the environment and kick-start data ingestions, etc.
Coach the client resources on HD/HAWQ

Position3:

Hadoop/ Big Data: ($65-$70/hr)- All inclusive.
Place = New York

PHD/HAWQ- Need other resources with the following experience:
- Looking for Big Data experience. 100s of Terrabytes of Data - Large
environment experience is important.
- Someone who has implemented at scale (both theory and hands on with
large big data environments. Lots of nodes, 100s of Terrabytes of
data) - Someone who is an expert in at least 1 Hadoop distribution
(Cloudera with Impala experience, or Hotron, or MapR) - The person
would need to be expert in one distribution, but can help NYSE learn
about the detailed differences between multiple Hadoop distributions -
This person will also help manage the lab environments for the
multiple distributions. There will be a Horton, Cloudera, Pivotal
environment, and this person will manage the operations of the
environments.
