Job Description

Our team is searching for a talented senior QA engineer with strong SaaS backend test experience. This will be an opportunity to test a new feature offering that utilizes a hosted SaaS backend which supports an ecosystem around a desktop based productivity software. The primary responsibility will be to test the hosted SaaS backend that supports the desktop based productivity software. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, finding bugs and defects, the creation and execution of a test plan, verifying fixes and the design and implementation of an automated test framework. A successful candidate will have the ability to work closely with our development and QA teams to ensure this new product meets a high level of quality.

Job Requirements

7+ yrs server side test experience including API testing (REST and external data API used in cloud applications)
4+ yrs Java and SaaS backend application test experience
Experience with testing SaaS applications (Zuora, Desk.com, Salesforce)
Experience working with Remote team members
Experience with the Agile development
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
Experience with Automation Testing Software (Gomez, PushToTest, uTest)
Experience with Subversion/Git
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Computer Science degree or equivalent (BS or above)

Desired Skills
Infrastructure as a service experience [AWS, Rackspace Cloud] (a plus)
SaaS operational experience (a plus)
SQL skills
Experience with Test case software (Testlink)
JIRA experience (or equivalent bug tracking software)
