Duration: 6+ months
Location: De Pere, WI
Must be EAD, GC or Citizen
Specific Skill or Knowledge Required:
• 5+ years of hands on development experience in C# or VB.NET
• 5+ years of practical experience and proven success with the design and construction of complex software applications
• Strong skills in object oriented analysis and design
• Experience developing or working with WCF web services
• Database skills that include the ability to write complex queries, data modeling and performance tuning
• Knowledge of unit testing practices and how to write testable code
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly and independently
• A passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest trends & technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related engineering field
• Proven ability to successfully translate client/business needs into software designs
• Experience in performance tuning of .NET applications
• Experience in SOA and integrating together multiple systems from multiple vendors
• Experience with multi-threaded solutions
• Experience with the Oracle database and PL/SQL
• Ability to effectively apply technology/engineering knowledge-base to multiple and evolving programs and languages
• Property Casualty insurance industry experience
