Sr. Java Developer (SL3)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Pay rate: 55/Hr. on C2C
We have an immediate need for a Java Developer that has experience in brokerage product asset classes that include equities, options, fixed income, and foreign exchange. Located in Jersey City, NJ, this position will be working for a strategic client in the Corporate and Investment Banking Industry.
You should have a working knowledge of brokerage trade and portfolio processing, which includes trade capture, dividends, Gain/Loss, pricing and valuation, position keeping (long vs. short), hedging, as well as risk and margin.
In this role must have:
1. Strong UNIX scripting knowledge.
2. Ability to debug the numerous logs for tracking PROD issues.
3. Understanding of JMS/Queues
4. Programming experience in Java, Sybase, Perl & Shell Scripting.
5. Prior experience on Capital market will be added advantage.
6. Able to support SL3
should also have the following:
- Experience in Geneva, Axys, GIM2, or Portia is a plus
- Good communication to interface with the client and Business IT teams
– Understanding of Prime Brokerage, Middle Office Processing, Securities trading
