Explanation for Position:

Business Systems Analysis to analyze business problems and opportunities, elicit and

write business and functional requirements, develop iRise simulations, develop and

document solutions.

Details of Position:

The Business Systems Analyst works with some supervision on projects of moderate

to high complexity and independently on projects of low to moderate complexity.

She/he serves as a liaison between the business community and Information

Services. This position elicits and analyzes business needs for assigned

projects, communicates with stakeholders and participates in determining if the

solution fits within the long-term strategic vision. This position ensures that work

products conform to quality and content standards.

Management Skills: Strong analysis, communication (both excellent verbal and written) and

organizations skills. Issue/risk management and development lifecycle knowledge.

Skills:

Microsoft Office - intermediate level

MS Visio - intermediate level

MS Project - intermediate level

iRise (or comparable) simulation software - intermediate level (Compulsory)
