Position: Senior UI Developer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: Long-term project 12+ months
Interview Process: Phone to F2F – Possible Skype*
KEYS:
Over 8 years of UI design solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
• Insurance Domain highly desired
OR
• Previous Billing system project experience
I am really looking for a Senior UI guy not backend guy but knows some JavaScript and HTML. 75% of their development should be in UI.
Job Description:
- Possess expert level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Expert experience writing object oriented JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and AJAX.
- Experience in bootstrap and Knockout.js are big plus.
- Experience in Photoshop will be a big plus.
- Experience with ASP.NET programming is a big plus.
Requirement Keys:
• Must have strong CSS3 and HTML5 skills
• Must have strong JavaScript and jQuery skills
• Knowledge of frameworks like KnockoutJs, Angular or Ember
• Knowledge on responsive website development and frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, and cross browser compatibility
• Strong Experience building custom controls/widgets, extending build-in components, custom themeing.
• Strong customer focus. Experience with user-centered design
• Knowledge of MVC design would be plus
Primary qualifications:
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of software development experience
• MUST HAVE: Proficiency with JQuery, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• MUST HAVE: In-depth knowledge of Java, OO programming, and modern web applications development
• MUST HAVE: Experience with Spring MVC.
• MUST HAVE: Experience and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• PREFERRED: Local candidates that can join ASAP
