Job Description:
Should have good experience in AIX 6.1 Administration
Should have good knowledge and experience on VIO,LPAR,DLPAR,NPIV technologies
Strong knowledge in LPAR concepts is mandatory, should be good enough in creating new Lpars,upgrading Memory,CPU,relocating resources
Good level of trouble shooting knowledge required related to DLPAR issues, NPIV issues.
Should have good knowledge in configuring SEA, configuring virtual fibre channel adapters.
Should have worked in AIX OS upgradation, AIX Migration from standalone box to LPAR.
Should have strong knowledge in Logical Volume Manager.
Should have good understanding on DR activity in real time scenarios
Should have Good knowledge in GPFS technology
Should have good hands on experience in Red Hat Linux administration
Should have good experience in New Linux OS installation & configuration part
Should have strong knowledge on NFS configuration and trouble shooting skills
Should have good knowledge in FTP & SFTP concepts and configurations
Should have good knowledge sendmail configuration and troubleshooting skills
Should have knowledge in Linux system security
Should have strong knowledge on Linux LVM and administration tasks
Should have strong knowledge on analyzing performance of servers and take necessary actions.
Should have basic understanding of storage and TSM backup concepts
Knowledge on shell scripting is mandatory, and should be in a position to create new scripts for enhancing the environment
