Java Lead Developer

Duration : 6 months 

Location: Chicago, IL

 

Job Description:

·         Should be Core Java programmer , who is very good at programming , algorithms , search engine , data structures.

·         Strong core java experience - understands internals of various java classes and how the JVM works. Has written multi-threaded code and understands the intricacies involved with synchronization and access patterns.

·         Strong Analytical thinking along with DataStructures and Algorithm experience - Should have CS fundamentals strong.

·         Should know the differences between various data structures like linkedlists, hashmaps, sets, arrays, trees, etc and explain the algorithmic complexity of what it takes to insert elements into these structures or search for elements in these structures.

·         Be able to understand various sort algorithms and use them appropriately to solve real-world problems. Be able to analytically solve a given problem and then turn that into code.

·         Services experience - has written atleast one webservice and can explain the reason for an SOA architecture and can walk through how to set SLAs for the service and perf tune it as per needs.

·         SDLC experience - Worked in an Agile env using tools like Git/SVN, Maven/Ant, CruiseControl, etc.
