We are looking for Sr. Linux Admin for one of our client at San Jose, CA or Austin, TX. Please let me know your interest.

Sr. Linux Admin

Location: San Jose, CA or Austin, TX

Duration: Long Term

Rate: $50/hr

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

·         Strong skills in Linux OS administration Linux/ RHEL/VMWare, Oracle

·         Strong Shell and/or Perl scripting skills for automation

·         Experience in building and configuring major Internet host/network services including but not limited to: Web (http, SSL, etc.), Mail (Sendmail, etc.), DNS, NFS, LDAP

·         Experience  in VMware virtualization platform

·         Experience  in host/network security management

·         Experience in supporting a large scale production environment

·         Strong skills in Solaris 10 or 11: ZFS, Container, Logical Domain, Dtrace

·         Strong skills in Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and Veritas Cluster System(VCS)

Desired Skills:

·         Experience in SAN management

·         Veritas and Solaris

·         Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu

Core responsibilities:

·         Working with Oracle Enterprise Linux and IM tools

·         Project requires build out and ongoing support
