Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Duration: 3+ Months 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
1. At least 5+ years of experience working with Java and J2EE technologies (JAX-RS, JMS, EJB, JPA)
2. Experience with Object Oriented applications and design patterns
3. ETL experience with Perl/Python is strongly preferred
4. Knowledge with Salesforce integrations is strongly preferred
5. Exposure to multi-threaded applications is a plus
6. Strong Working Knowledge of SQL 
7. Ability to work independently with minimum direction 
** This is a position for Middleware development. We are NOT interested in candidates who only have UI (Servlets, STRUTS etc.) experience.

Responsible for analyzing the functional business applications and design specifications.

Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Codes, tests, debugs, maintains and refines the computer software to produce the required product.

Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency.

Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency.

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience and 6+ years of experience required.

This is an opportunity that expands and challenges what you already know about processing large volumes of data intelligently and efficiently, propagating data to different systems including Salesforce cloud platform and reconciling business data from multiple sources applying complex transformations.

This position will have an opportunity to work with different technology stacks (Perl/Python/Java) that fits the task and will have a chance to work in collaboration with the architectural team to ensure architecture guidelines have been followed in the design and specifications of the assigned projects /systems and that there is appropriate adherence to the systems development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities include:
• Participate in requirements gathering, design, review and planning. 
• Design, prototype, document, build, test and deploy system components to support our business needs. 
• Prepare appropriate documentation to ensure clear project definition and execution
• Produce deliverables on time and with a high level of quality 
• Identify project risks and provide appropriate process and procedures to mitigate those risks
• Creates solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components using J2EE technology stack
• Understand/modify existing Perl and/or Python ETL programs
