Position: Linux Admin
Location: Raleigh, NC
Type of Hire: Contract
Rate: $ per hr
Must have skill: Linux Admin
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with UNIX (Solaris and Linux RHEL / SuSE) and other core system tools such as NIS, LDAP, DNS, NFS, and Active Directory
• 5+ years of OS performance analysis and tuning
• 5+ years of disk management tools such as disk suite, Veritas Volume manager, Veritas File System, Cluster File system, RedHat LVM
• 3+ years knowledge of clustering tools such as Veritas Cluster server, RedHat Clustering.
• Knowledge of SAN technology and its impact on the server environment, NAS skills nice to have
• Advanced troubleshooting/networking skills including SAN/Network resiliency
• Excellent TCP/IP skills
• Shell Scripting and/or Perl
• Distributed Systems Management
• Knowledge and Support Oracle RAC
• Good knowledge of Sun (Oracle), HP Hardware
