Job Description:

We are looking for a Java developer to enhance the functions of software applications in the biomolecule toolkit portfolio. Specifically, we would like to support new biological entities and enable bulk compound registration. 

Requirement:

·        5+ years Java Swing development experience

·        3+ years Oracle Database development experience

·        3+ years of J2EE development experience

·        Working experience of apache ANT, subversion, NetBeans/Eclipse

·        Good communications skills

·        A quick learner

·        Chemistry and/or biology knowledge preferred

-The hiring process will be 2 technical phone screens which will result in a hire or a pass.

-Consultants who have worked for a bank, financial institution or credit card processing company are a HUGE bonus.

-MUST HAVE both Java and C Development experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client located in Bedford, MA or Atlanta, GA is in need of a multiple Java and C Developers for a 3 month contract with a good chance of extension. The client is developing new software to securely manage financial payment terminals and retail credit card processors. This team of developers is split between senior and junior developers and preference will be given to developer with financial services industry experience.

Required Skills:

Prior experience developing a new software solution with Java and C is required

Solid understanding of J2EE and Java Servlets

Prior experience developing code used in a secure environment is a must

Must be capable of working at the clients Bedford, MA or Atlanta, GA location as required

Must be productive working remotely to support the project

Strong communication and documentation skills are a must

Nice to Have:

Experience with Ruby on Rails is a major plus and is preferred

J2EE platform development experience is a major plus and is preferred

Encryption and tokenization development experience is a major plus and is preferred

Financial Services industry experience is a major plus and is preferred

Credit card and payment terminals development experience is a major plus and is preferred
