Job title: Core Java Developer
Work Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 3-6 months Contract
Job Description:
Mandatory
· 7+ years of programming experience in Core Java and J2EE technologies like Spring, JBoss/Tomcat and Rest based services using Netty.
· Deep understanding and experience with multi-threading, concurrency, GarbageCollection and JVM internals
· Strong object-oriented design skills, coupled with a deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
· Strong in Java performance tuning, debugging & Profiling Tools.
· Excellent debugging, critical thinking, and communication skills
· Able to gather cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks
· Comfortable working in Unix environments such as Linux shell.
Preferable
· Sound knowledge of HDFS, Map Reduce & Pig scripting (Hadoop technologies)
· Hadoop Administration.
