Title: Analytics Platform Senior Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 3 Months Contract-to-hire

Content Platform and Post Trade Analytics team, part of Real-Time Pricing and

Analytics organization, builds analytics platform capabilities which form a foundation for new breed of Eikon applications and APIs.

It is in charge of onboarding text content like real-time news, filings, research and other onto the Platform, making it searchable and integrating it with other Platform-based systems like Alerts.

It is also in charge of building infrastructure and applications for Buy-Side like backtesting and other pricing (and other) time series analysis.

Requirements:

·         Strong working knowledge of Java and C++

·         Strong problem solving, algorithmic thinking and coding skills

·         Experience in development of complex distributed, multi-tier systems

·         Experience in stream computing or CEP a strong plus

·         In-depth knowledge of Big Data technologies a strong plus

·         Experience in working with market data a plus

·         Experience with performance tuning and optimization a plus

·         Experience in working with modern search platforms like Elastic Search or Solr a plus

·         Experience in working with HBase, Impala, Hive, HDFS, MapReduce a plus

·         Ability to work in highly agile team environment

·         Self-driven, goal-oriented team player with good communication skills
