Role: Network Architect
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Duration: 2+ year contract
In person required..

Provide architectural oversight and information security review for data center modernization. Ensure identification and implementation of appropriate controls for solutions/systems/interfaces across platforms and applications. Perform risk/vulnerability assessments as required. Lead the develop of solutions and consult with stakeholders to help define requirements, work to understand secure options, and design specific systems, applications, or processes for a complex and demanding operational environment. A strong technical background in application and network security is highly desired.

Qualifications:
8+ years of professional experience designing and analyzing security systems & applications
Strong working knowledge of security principles such as identity and access management, vulnerability testing, penetration testing and computer forensics.
Experience with business continuity planning, auditing, risk management.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Payment Card Industry/Data Security Standard (PCI).
Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 2700x, ITIL, COBIT and NIST Computer Security.
High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
Experience designing end-to-end security solutions
Leadership within the application security landscape
Experience with system-level software, operating system internals, and sandboxing technology
Comfort with network protocols at all layers of the OSI model
Experience with vulnerability assessments, monitoring tools, audits, etc..
Experience with browser security internals
Prior software development experience (Java, C++, etc)
Security related certifications (CISSP, CEH, etc...)

Note to vendors:
During the interview process, candidates will be expected to demonstrate their security related experience with policy recommendations, compliance monitoring and auditing, design and/or implementation of security software/tools/processes, and security problem resolution.
