ACCIS Data Exchange
Bureau of Child Care is requesting data exchange with ACCIS. ACCIS is a database housed and maintained by NYC HRA. ACCIS contains child subsidy data (payments made to child care providers in the city). We need to create a data services to provide ACCIS with operating status data from child care centers and receive from ACCIS the identity of child care services receiving subsidy payments.
The project manager/business analyst (PM) will be responsible for managing this project and perform the following tasks:
PM will coordinate and facilitate meetings, manage timelines and deliverables, manage subject
PM will responsible for documentation of meeting notes, minutes and follow up on action items.
PM will be responsible for gathering business requirements and documenting functional requirements
PM will work with business to get proper signoffs on deliverables
PM will ensure that project deliverables are delivered on-time.
PM will need to be able to facilitate meetings and ensure prioritization of tasks.
PM will need to be able to resolve problems and execute project plans.
PM will also be responsible for developing status reports and ensuring that they are delivered on time.
PM will be responsible for tracking issues and risks and escalating to upper management as necessary
PM will be responsible for testing application to ensure business and functional requirements are met
PM will be responsible for updating project management tools with proper documentation, status updates, and updating timelines
PM will be responsible for following agency IT Methodology to ensure execution of project is successful
Mandatory Skill/Expertise
5+ years of project management experience.
5+ years of SDLC methodologies.
Demonstrated proficiency in organization and communication.
Very strong technology background with good understanding of application development/methodologies.
Knowledge of technology especially web based applications, technical design and system infrastructure.
High level knowledge of .net 3.0 and above.
High level knowledge of java script.
Experience with Web Services.
Experience with application development and interfacing with other internal or external systems.
Ability to assess task durations and provide staff guidance.
Strong documentation skills (i.e. Project Plans, Project Charter, Project Status Reports, Meeting Notes and minutes).
Ability to manage people to ensure they meet their deliverables.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience in executing such methodologies.
Experience in gathering and documenting requirements.
