Linux Driver Developer

Duration: 6 months (Extendable to 1 Year)

Location: Braintree, MA

Experience/Qualification includes:

-        Must have deep knowledge and hands on experience of developing components for running Linux on hardware, including bootloader, bootstrap code, kernel development and driver development.

-        Experience in bringing up Linux and Device Drivers on multi core Intel x86 based SOC's

o   Linux Board Support Package (BSP) for Linux based Embedded systems (x86/Atom target Processors)

-        Prior embedded Linux software development is a plus

o   Kernel configuration and patching

o   Kernel optimization

-        Fluent in Python, shell scripts, C/C++ and/or Java/JavaScript. Prior experience with git and understanding open source development methodology and practice is a must. Prior contributions to any open source project are a plus. Additional software development skills that are desirable are: agile development process, deep knowledge, and experience in: networking, toolchain, graphics, virtual machines, e.g. qemu, security

-          Worked on Intel atom processors and intel platforms

        -      Yokto or WindRiver - being able to take build tools and build BSP

-          Familiarity with Linux IMA-EVM

o   Security development

-        Familiar with GRUB 2.0 Bootloader

o   Knowledge Secure boot/Trusted Grub is a plus
