We have " NoSQL Developer – Accumulo" positions at " Naperville, IL " – Longterm Contract Position

Title: NoSQL Developer – Accumulo

Locations: Naperville, IL

Duration: Longterm contract

Rate: Open

Role Purpose:

•             NoSQL Developers – Accumulo, SQRRL, Apache Hadoop, SOLR, HBase, Hive, PIG

•             The resource will be working on Big Data related development activities involving Accumulo, SQRRL, Apache Hadoop, SOLR, HBase, Hive, PIG.

 Principle accountability:-

•             Should have the ability to think analytically, offer ideas & recommendations as required

 Competencies:

 Technical:

 Overall 10 years of IT experience with at least 3+ years of distributed database experience in Accumulo, SQRRL, Apache Hadoop, SOLR.

•             Knowledge in Big Data related technologies and open source frameworks preferred.

•             Understanding of the storage and retrieval techniques used for BigData

•             Data protection from unauthorized access & disaster recovery

•             Knowledge and use of an Agile development methodology with a proven track record of successful deliveries

•             Experience with integration tools such as Talend is a plus.

 Behavioral

•             Capability to work with highly customized and sensitive environments

•             Capability to prioritize and work on multiple issues and an ability to communicate with business and technical stakeholders

 Soft Skills:

•             Should be a self-starter and a proactive person.

•             Good individual contributor as well as a team player with ability to build strong partner confidence

•             Excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills as the position demands regular interactions across level with technical and functional bodies.

•             Should have the ability to think analytically, offer ideas & recommendations as required

•             Capability to  work independently in an environment with little or no documentation

•             Good communication skills and capability to interact with onsite business folks.

•             Experience of working at onsite and offshore

•             Ability to map and document business process from start to finish with little or no support and documentation

•             Experience in writing test cases and create test scripts starting with little or no documentation

•             Capability to prioritize and work and an ability to communicate with business, SMEs and technical stakeholders.
