This is a temporary assignment to cover the Hyperion Suite Manager while out on maternity leave.  The Hyperion Systems Analyst will work within a Hyperion systems team that is responsible for supporting the financial planning, analysis and reporting needs of the organization. The analyst will work collaboratively with the Hyperion team, IT and business users to ensure data integrity, system stability and availability. 

Job responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

·         Provide application support to the team during the monthly and quarterly close and forecasting cycle

·         Assist with the reporting processes, data analysis, system reconciliations and troubleshooting 

Required Education:  BA/BS

Required/Preferred Professional Experience: 

·         Proficiency with Essbase Add-in and/or SmartView

·         Familiarity with Hyperion Planning (9.x/11.x)

·         Experience with Financial Reporting Studio

·         Knowledge of Reporting via SharePoint, including Batch reporting

·         Ability to do ad-hoc reporting and/or troubleshooting, as needed

Required Competencies:

·         Self-starter that is able to work independently while supporting the needs of the team

·         Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills

·         Able to follow instructions

·         Heavy reporting experience with Financial Reporting, SharePoint including Batch reporting and Excel add-in and/or SmartView queries

Knowledge/Skills:

·         In-depth knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Planning (9.x/11.x)

·         Report Scripts (Maintenance/Design)
