Ariba Developer contract Job in Roseville, CA

This position is part of our clients Procurement, Security and Aviation IT group which spans critical application platforms world-wide. We are looking for a candidate that excels in customer engagement and in bridging the gap between technical expertise and business requirements analysis.  

Responsibilities:

·         Complete the requirement analysis for the business requirements and produce necessary artifacts.

·         this will be heavy on data migration cleansing, they will be developing some scripts and doing some testing

·         Complete the Design and CUT per the time lines.

·         Follow the SDLC process; complete the necessary artifacts per each phase and reviews.

·         As a team member work very closely with the Tech lead and PM of the project and requirement owners.

·         Support the SIT, BVT and UAT phases testing; fix the defects/bugs found during testing.

·         Complete support training materials and all the necessary documentation for the MTP.

·         Support during the warranty period and fix any defects/bugs found.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience.

·         Experience utilizing Using Ariba version 9.R1

·         2-4 years of Development experience in Ariba products using  Ariba Query language, AML customization, Product Configuration, E-Forms,  Integration events etc. 

·         Experience working with in JAVA. 

·         Web development experience using multiple languages/tools: Java, Java servlets, JSP, HTML, XML and Eclipse. 

·         Working experience with Webserver (IIS or apache) , Application servers ( Weblogic, JBoss etc) and DB servers like Oracle. 

·         Working experience on UNIX platform . 

·         OOPS concepts, Relational database concepts, strong SQL.    

·         Strong Analytical , design and debug skills 

·         Desirable to have an ERP configuration /integration experience. 

·         Desirable to have a web services experience.

·         Must have ability to work across several businesses, functions, and geographies to ensure that the enterprise solutions developed/deployed meet the business needs in a cost-effective and expedient way.
