Job Title:                    Java Developer- Telecom

Job Description:

Should have worked with ATT or Verizon or any telecom client

Must be local to Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA

·         Identify and document detailed System requirements by working with the appropriate Business owners, designers, developers, testers, project managers, and other analysts. Documents created and maintained according to client standard practice and release milestones.

·         Manage system requirements and bi-directional traceability of system requirements to Business and functional requirements.

·         Define and document system use cases

·         Analyze and document system rules and process flows

·         Serve as a liaison between the business community and IT organizations as required to ensure System requirements are fully supported by IT

·         Schedule and facilitate JAD sessions as required to ensure requirement accuracy and completeness as well as timely resolution of issues

·         Document requirement changes, rationale, and initiative/application impacts and dependencies

·         Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix and obtain client and IT signoff

·         Participate in requirement and use case transitioning to the design and development teams to ensure clear and complete understanding of the requirements

 Assist design/development teams with design questions related to documented system requirements

·         Participate in quality management reviews as the requirements subject matter expert to assist with test planning, execution, and user acceptance

·         Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing

Other pre-screening criteria to consider:

·         Previous work experience with cleint and familiarity with the client processes and practices (IT Up, POS applications, etc)

·         Strong communication skills

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Proactive thinker/initiator

·         Someone who drives leadership and ownership of work

·         Requirements experience in Communications industry

·         Knowledge/experience with JAVA, J2EE, Struts, HTML/Javascript, Oracle, Weblogic a plus

·         Design/development/test experience a plus
