Short Description:

.Net Programmer is needed to transition and enhance a small VB.Net program to .Net.

Complete Description:

The current program takes input from user inputted information and generates an Excel spread sheet.  Basically, the client needs a vb/.net programmer who is familiar with the Microsoft office tools like access and excel who can take the ball and run with it.

The programmer will be tasked with the following: - Meet / Speak with users to determine needed functionality and enhancements - Update Program from VB.Net to .Net - Enhance the program with the added requirements determined from meeting / speaking with users

Required/Desired Skills

·         Coding, testing and debuggin in .net 4.0 entity framework         

·         Classical n-tier architecture

·         SOA (service oritented architecture)                   

·         Building pages with C# code that consumes data from SQL server        

·         Building and consuming web sevices   

·         Effective web page design and coding 

·         Understanding user controls    

·         Coding using .net generic classes            

·         Normalization, keys, indexes and basic tuning                 

·         Design/create/alter SQL tables               

·         Write use views, stored procedures and functions        

·         Write queries using LINQ syntax            

·         html, CAS and javascript             

·         VB and .Net
