Description- Note from HM: Candidate needs to be an expert on database tuning and goldengate, This is NOT a operational production role. The role is for an application dba.
• JO TITLE: Oracle Database Administrator
Experience:
• Expert knowledge of Oracle databases (12-15 years).
• Expert knowledge of Golden Gate ( 4 - 6 years)
• Expert knowledge of database and SQL tuning ( 12 - 15 years) .
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with applications teams to do physical design, partitions, tuning and production ddl implementation.
• Review performance in production and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Implementation of golden gate replication for new tables, support, patching.
• Work on database upgrades.
• Oncall support once every four weeks for goldengate issues.
