Need Enterprise Application Integration Engineer in NJ - 6 Months contract!
Position : Enterprise Application Integration Engineer(EAI)
Location : Woodcliff Lake,NJ
Duration : 6 Months
Description:
Responsible for developing and deploying integrated solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating the independently designed applications within and across the enterprises. Determines how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, Web interfaces and/or hardware logic, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements. Develops methods to efficiently reuse existing components. Works with users to gather business requirements, performs database analysis, codes and tests middleware routines to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems and applications components. Participates in component and data architecture design, software product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Possesses skills and knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies and processes such as object-oriented programming, distributed, cross-platform program communication using message brokers with Common Object Request Broker Architecture, enterprise wide content and data distribution using common databases and data standards implemented with the Extensible Markup Language (XML), middleware applications and message queuing approaches. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 2 to 5 years of programming/systems analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems architectural design and development, database and middleware technologies.
Technical Skillset:
• Java, J2EE • JCAPS 6.2 & 6.3 • Web services – SOAP & Restful • Glassfish Application server - Proficient with Cluster configuration and deployment to Glassfish • IBM Web sphere MQ • SSL certificates – Request & Configuration • Nagios Monitoring tool • Apache Web Server – Configuration and maintenance • Familiarity with Cobol Copybook and SAP IDOC messages • Familiarity with IBM Tivoli Access Manager (WebSEAL) Job Responsibilities • Administration of EAI Integration and Production environment o Server Configuration o EAI Echo system monitoring (includes MQ, Database, SAP & Mainframe systems) o User Administration o SSL certificate configuration, renewals etc. o MQ Queue provisioning requests o WebSEAL junction configurations o Onboarding new Vendors – troubleshooting issues with their communication with EAI platform • Application Monitoring – Monitoring & reprocessing failure messages, troubleshooting issues. • Incident Management & Problem Management • Production Deployments • Application Design & Development using JCAPS • Support during QA & UAT testing • Communication with external partners (over 70 plus external partners) • Mentor & Support EAI development work being carried out by different FSD Vendors • Participate in Architectural discussion with Customer • Resolution of queries related to EAI platform
