Senior Java J2EE Developer / Engineer
Job Location: Center City, Philadelphia,
Duration: Long Term contract
Interview Process: Phone followed by face to face
2 languages experience required... Java with C++, Python, Ruby Or C#...not knowledge. must have development experience..
Long term projects experience.. not just web app development/ enhancement of code.. must have worked on full life cycle development..
Restful and messaging experience also kind of required..
· 8-10 years of experience developing software
· Experience developing with Java, plus one other language (Ruby, Python, C++, C#, SCALA)
· TDD, Object Oriented Programming, Continuous Integration
· Experience working in an Agile development environment
Nice to have skills - Ideal candidate
· Previous experience supporting a platform integration effort/project
· NoSQL databases (Mongo, Cassandra, Redis, etc.), specifically Elastic Search and the ELK stack
· Experience working with publish-subscribe and message queuing architectural patterns (then when reading resumes, scan for: JMS, Kafka, TIBCO Rendezvous/EMS, WebSphere MQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Qpid, Python Message Service, AMQP)
· Experience developing or working with RESTful Web Services
· Aspect-oriented software development experience (look for Spring and AspectJ)
· Linux system administration
· A Software Craftsmanship mindset/approach
