Position- SOA/Message Broker Developer

Location: Auburn Hills, MICHIGAN

Role responsibilities

•             Produce high-quality web service code that satisfies both the functional and non-functional requirements

•             Design, develop, deploy, test and maintain technical assets in SOA environment, web services and integration

•             Develop configurable code modules that integrate to enterprise services

•             Identify technical issues & coordinate the resolution of these issues with extended team members from other applications

•             Secure coding / secure development practices and patterns

Required Skills:

•             Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent

•             7+ years of experience

•             Experience with the SOA platform: IBM, Web Methods, Design or implementation using WSDL and SOAP

•             Produce scalable, flexible, robust and efficient solutions with SOA and related technologies like WSDL/XSD, WS-*, BPEL,

•             Solid Java/J2EE, JMS, XML, XSLT, XQUERY, XSD, SOAP, REST, WSDL development experience

•             Interact with the customer for deployment of software version updates and, where appropriate, code promotion and production support

•             Exposure to and understanding of Model Driven Service Development

•             Comprehensive IT analytical skills, strong problem analytical skills,

•             Working knowledge of various multi-user, multi-tasking operating systems/platforms (Unix, Windows)

•             Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer confidence in ability to deliver to business needs.

•             Identification of elements suitable for server-side caching and/or aggregation and best practices and approaches for accomplishing the caching

•             WebSphere Application Server

•             WebSphere Message Broker, WebSphere MQ

•             Oracle RDBMS

•             Business/Consumer-facing web applications, Web Services

•             Demonstrated development experience

•             Demonstrated experience in working with external technology vendors
