Need Java Developer Local to NC - 6 Months contract!
Position : Java Developer
Location : Raleigh,NC(Need Locals for onsite interview)
Duration : 6 Months
Description of Responsibilities:
Design, build, implement and maintain scalable, robust and high performance enterprise data integrations across disparate systems
Conduct analysis, development, and testing of data management and warehousing solutions using APIs and ETL tools to consume and transform data
Perform web application design and development
Create and maintain technical system documentation throughout all phases of the SDLC
Provide technical expertise and recommendations in the evaluation, strategy and design of service oriented architecture solutions for data management and system integrations
Perform unit and functional testing to validate stability of developed solutions
Validate deliverables through code reviews to determine if functionality is production quality
Work with various Project and Product Managers across the organization on project planning and implementation efforts
Champion best practices and collaborate with team members and management to develop the best possible product
Required Skills:
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of personnel
Prior technical leadership
Expert level Java Development
Expert level with Web Services technologies ( SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON, XML)
Experience with JBoss Fuse ESB and JBoss Application Server
Experience building complex SQL queries
Experience developing within the Eclipse IDE
Experience in full life-cycle project solution delivery
Experience utilizing ETL tools to integrate data sources
Experience with GitHub source code management
Ability to build Custom APIs
Ability to troubleshoot issues associated with software and within the environment
Knowledge of Red Hat Linux
Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant subject area
2 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
5+ years of professional software development experience
4+ years of professional Java integration and web service development with ESBs such as JBoss Fuse
2+ years of professional experience with databases and SQL
