Job Title: SQL Developer (Strong PL/SQL exp with Manufacturing)
Location: Algonquin, IL
Duration: 1 Month + strong possibility of extending
Job description
Facilitate meetings with business users to understand, translate, and simplify business requirements
Create functional/technical requirements for solutions to low to moderate complexity business problems.
Construct and execute moderate to advanced SQL queries (Oracle PL/SQL and preferably also MSFT SQL)
Develop customizations to applications with an Oracle database
Train end users on developed solutions.
Other customization work using the user interface tools in IFS (example: create custom fields, create email notification events, create IFS quick reports).
Develop and apply an understanding of various tools in use in the environment and how/when the tools are best applied
Document development work and training materials
Must be able to hold technical conversations with IT staff AND interact with non-technical users to help them understand the toolset and become independently proficient
Ability to self-manage, quick learner, comfortable in a fast paced environment
Disciplined approach to work and achieving goals, clear communication with IT management of progress and barriers
Technologies
Oracle, PL/SQL, ETL
IFS ERP/CRM Experience highly valued, not mandatory
Understanding of SDLC processes
Additional ability to create reports and data extracts against large data sets using SSAS prebuilt cubes and SSRS reports is preferred
Microsoft SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, SQL, ETL is nice to have
