This side Akash from Kani Solution and I have below urgent position for my client, please have a look it -

Need: Jr. QA Engineer

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Mode: Phone then Skype

# Positions: 8

Rate: $40/hr on C2C

Note: Looking for UAT, Regression testing, SQL & Great communication.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Involvement in the design of the solution and the testing requirements for a Data Migration project

·         Writing and creating complex SQL statements to ensure Data Integrity

·         Generate reports, drill down into the reports and test for accuracy of the reports

·         Testing the migration of data from one data structure to another

·         Create comprehensive test plans for Client applications

·         Design and execute manual and automated test cases

·         Conduct functional, system, regression and smoke tests in multiple environments

·         Diagnose, report, track, and assist in resolving quality issues

·         Facilitate the code migration between Development, Test, UAT, Staging and Production

·         Partner with teams throughout Client to ensure quality objectives are achieved

·         Work independently in a fast paced, exciting development environment

·         Execute strategic quality projects, enabling the SQA team to meet aggressive quality and productivity objectives

·         Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence the development of new features and improve product usability

·         Use Agile methodology to perform testing

Skills and Experience Required:

·         Minimum 5 years' experience in software quality testing and/or business analysis

·         Strong knowledge and experience in SQL

·         Background in facilitating Test-Driven Development

·         Basic understanding of the following languages:  SQL, XML, HTML, Java & Unix

·         Basic Understand of Data Warehouse Life Cycle and ETL process

·         Experience testing within Agile methodologies

·         Experience in Cognos report testing

·         Experience in creating test reports (thresholds, regression, UAT, etc.)

·         Experience in creating automated test scripts, and using  programs or utilities to do database validation from one database to another

·         Experience with web based products that tailor to individual personas.

·         Experience with testing support products and processes, such as defect tracking systems and software configuration controls

·         High attention to detail coupled with a strong commitment to the delivery of a high quality product

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skill

·         Excited to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast paced organization

Educational Requirements:

·         BS in Computer Science or Information Systems or other similar program or comparable work experience
