Position = QA Lead
Location = Detroit, MI
Duration = 6 + Months
EAD , GC or USC
Client – Lochbridge/ BCBSM
Test Management:
Manage to milestones and testing schedules for assigned testing activities
Provide testing progress reports for assigned testing activities
Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
Participate in resource allocation and planning within the quality assurance team
Participate in estimation and scope definition for testing activities as appropriate
Participate in proposal writing activities
Process:
Monitor quality activities within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for multiple projects
Identify issues, risks, and implement process improvements and help set standards and define best practices for testingDevelop and monitor adherence to delivery standards
Provide input on hiring decisions for technical staff – perform technical assessments
Delegate project tasks to team members, track progress through completion, adjust assignments to address impacts to project schedules
Keep abreast of changes in the standards, technologies or methodologies; make recommendations process or tools improvements
Carry out administrative functions: time tracking, provide input to the performance review process, provide input into job descriptions
Perform risk assessment and risk management activities
Coach, mentor and train team members
Coordinates peer reviews of testing artifacts
Give direction and guidance to team members
Provide technical assistance and technical training when required
Review assignments for accuracy and quality
Develop, execute and monitor team adherence to practice processes
Attend meetings, trainings or seminars
Work with other departments
