Title: .NET Developer

Location: Boston MA (LOCALS ONLY MUST IN PERSON INTERVIEW)

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:
  
The Ideal candidate will

• Provide expertise in web technologies, database design, implementation and scripting to successfully facilitate business processes;
• Create application architecture and technical design using design patterns and common solutions
• Work with information architecture and design during planning and production phases
• Conducts planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks
• Establish project objectives and plans by analyzing project requirements and collaborating with management
• Understand scope and high level requirements and lead the solution elaboration and implementation process
• Be responsible for the quality of your work throughout its lifecycle
• Write code based on functional specifications
• Optimize development for user experience
• Be able to produce clear and concise technical specification documents for internal and external use
• Produce code to the highest standards while adhering to industry accepted architecture and design pattern techniques and methodologies (e.g., MVC, SOA, OOP etc.)
• Responsible for level 3 support, building and maintaining MBTA websites.

 
 Basic Qualification:

• 7+ years of professional experience 
•  .NET developer/architect with strong Object Oriented skills  
• Experience in Application Architecture Design, or Development
•  Hands-on experience with Unit Testing and Inversion of Control  
• ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server
• General understanding of technologies such as WCF, LINQ, & XML
•  Understanding of Agile Development methodologies like Scrum and XP    

Preferred:

• Certification inASP.NET MVC
• OWASP Secure coding experience
• Payment or Financial Industry Experience is a preferred or experience with large volume transaction processing networks
