Position  :Sr. Middleware Engineer(Websphere)

Location  : Des Moines, Iowa

Duration : 6+ months

Job Description:

This job requires highly skilled Middleware Engineer. The person has to work with Architects and Delivery Managers closely. He\she should be self-motivated, self-learning and also to teach the team on new things we do.
Expertise on IBM products, Tomcat, and developers tools would really help. We are expecting this person to have hands on Linux \ Unix flavors.


Technical Skill Set:

1. IBM WebSphere admin v8.5
2. IBM MQ admin V7.1 and greater
3. Hands on experience in Linux and Windows
4. Hands on experience in Apache Httpd server , Apache tomcat server with clustering
5. IBM HTTP server admin
6. Hands on experience in Jenkins, Nexus, Mercurial and git
7. Hands on experience in monitoring setup like SiteScope
8. Hands on experience in APM tool setup like app dynamics \ foglight \ New Relic
9. Should have work on performance tuning in Java Applications which includes heap and thread analysis
10. Hands on experience in IBM CTG , F5 , Liferay Portal , SSO, BPM, puppet tools would be an added advantage
11. Hands on experience in Automating through scripting


Interpersonal Skills:

1. Should have very good communication skills
2. Should be self-learner and self-motivator
3. Should play a role to coordinator between onsite and offshore
4. On-call support should be provided for technical

5. Understand the business needs and design solutions for them
