 currently seeking a CQ5 Developer for our client in Downtown Chicago.

 Qualifications:

• Strong Java knowledge; Experience using Java, J2EE, XML, SQL and Shell Scripting in a UNIX environment
• Strong knowledge of Adobe CQ application development (min. 3 years)
• JavaScript / JQuery knowledge
• CSS3 & HTML5 experience
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and attendant technologies
• Experience working with REST, Sling and SOAP in a production environment
• Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML
• Ability to work flexibly and appropriate trade-offs to meet time constraints
• Experience collaborating with clients, project managers, and engineers
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs and codes from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements moderately complex software applications 

• Under general direction, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results 
   
• Modifies, installs, and prepares technical documentation for system software applications 
   
• Provides high level written communications such as white papers, decision documents, or research papers 
   
• Identify, escalate and document production impact issues for the environment to confirmed delivery for client and business notification 
   
• Solid experience with CQ5 building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets and bundles.

• Experience on Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM, Workflows is required.

• Design and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR)

• Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, formatting, image scaling, internationalization, and personalization.

• Translate business requirements into AEM specific implementation specifications.

• Design and improve internal development methodologies
