Role: PeopleSoft Financial Techno Functional Consultant (AP, AR, GL)
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: Long Term/Full Time
Rate/Salary: $/Hr on C2C (or) $K+Benefits
Exp Level: 5+ Yrs
Responsibilities:
Accountable and single point of contact for whole PeopleSoft 9.1 application production environments.
Working with Account Receivables, Account Payables and General Ledger business users to understand the PeopleSoft application related issues and providing the feasible solutions.
Validating daily and weekly PeopleSoft batch jobs status to provide the statistics to Business application supervisors.
Work with end user to understand the issues, concerns and new developments to improve the business efficiency. Providing solution with respect to PeopleSoft application, legacy systems like IBM messaging, NSB integrated with PeopleSoft and also addressing performance issues on application and database pool.
Working with off-shore and provide the details of technical design to build new objects using PeopleTools and SQRs.
Reviewing developer code and performing system integration testing and unit testing before deliver to user testing.
Working on PeopleSoft integrated tools like IBM Messaging (Broker) authentication application for Student Financial Aids to recover sales transaction manually to PeopleSoft.
Validating the customer vs sales information in PeopleSoft/Broker for SFA and External SFA transactions to get the customer assignments to deliver the customer statements from PeopleSoft through email or SFTP file server.
Generating PS Quires for business users to get the required reports for financial enquiries. Also create manual SQL Queries for business users using DB tools TOAD to generate one time reports.
Working with Cash Application team and monitoring PS payment predictor process applies payment through overnight batch jobs received from WellsFargo bank lockbox files.
Working with Collections and addressing PeopleSoft Aging report issues. Also coordinating to reconcile the sales report vs Aging amounts and statement balances to find the missing customer transactions.
Work with infrastructure team to understand the system outages and holding/releasing nightly batch jobs scheduled in Tidal batch processing tools.
Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with BNC management and Hexaware management to provide the project status.
