Job Title: PeopleSoft FSCM Lead
Location:  Albany, NY
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description
Start date may be up to 1-2 months out, so candidates that are on project are preferred.
Work as an engaged and effective partner in the stages of analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of complex and diverse applications, systems and processes and build prototypes and setup conference room pilots 
Perform analyses integral to improving how PeopleSoft interacts with current and future databases/systems to enable operational improvements
Apply creativity and cutting-edge PeopleSoft technology know-how to ensure error free, timely, secure and compliant delivery of critical services through the PeopleSoft FSCM (Financials and Supply Chain Management) application
Setup and maintain configuration/base tables and troubleshoot issues related to the functional module setup and revisit methodically from time to time the current setup and work with the Finance and Contract Management teams and identify the potential for unfolding new/unused functionality to satisfy unmet business objectives
Analyze impact to customizations when applying Oracle patches and bug fixes using PeopleSoft compare reports
Research Oracle new releases/images to help plan for future state of NYSERDA's business processes
Configure Contract Document Libraries and Clauses and troubleshoot and fix document/xml related issues with Purchasing Contracts/ad hoc documents
Setup and configure Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) with multiple steps, rules, approvals and notifications
Setup and maintain the Chartfield structure, streamline and standardize the Chartfield values, and build combination edit rules and speed charts
Configure and maintain control and detail budgets and ledgers with the ability to track the performance of the projects and programs at various intervals in relation to budget, actuals and forecasts
Configure and maintain the tree structures and definition
Triage issues by tracing PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, and other PeopleSoft objects to identify the root cause of a problem related to code, data, configuration, etc., and provide solution in fixing the core of the issue
Perform analyses integral to improving reporting including determining whether to create a report with PeopleSoft or to leverage Tableau or another platform to aid in organizational decision-making
Create and execute test plans, test scripts, test scenarios and lead and participate in all phases of testing
Complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner while keeping project stakeholders informed
Perform other responsibilities as needed

Required Skills 
Expert functional lead in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.0 version or higher in modules Supplier Contract Management, Purchasing, eSupplier Connection, Project Costing, Accounts Payables, Account Receivables, Commitment Control, General Ledger, Purchasing, Billing, and Customer Contracts
Knowledge of the PeopleSoft FSCM application key table structures and ability to write simple to medium SQL statements, create PS queries
Proven ability to successfully analyze an organization's critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for improving customer service offerings
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and anticipate team needs along with ability to operate and promote an environment of teamwork
Excellent problem solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and develop plans to resolve them
Experience with Microsoft Suite (Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint)
Effectively communicate status, collaborate and problem solve with management and other relevant stakeholders
Experience with project management methods, processes, standards, and tools
Skill in managing multiple diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments and operating with speed, accuracy and strong judgment 
Demonstrated ability and commitment to continuous learning
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills that resonate with audiences of different backgrounds, the ability to communicate persuasively, concisely and unambiguously in speech and in writing
