C# .NET Developer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop application bug fixes and feature enhancements to an existing C# / .Net application.
- Solve and articulate complex problems through interactive application design, development and work with a designated Business Analyst closely to understand business requirements.
- Collaborate with other programmers and developers throughout the development process
- Maintain existing software conducting tests, analyzing errors, refining programs, and providing technical assistance and support when needed
- Provide internal and external client support for the application as needed
- Support the QA team with test programming and provide feedback
- Assist with creating and maintaining technical specifications and documentation to describe existing software program processes, changes, and issues.
- Review documentation written by other IT personnel
- Maintain regular schedule to meet the needs of the agency (with occasional participation in on-call support for infrastructure updates/disruptions)
- Well versed in software development cycle
- Experience working in a matrix organization is a plus
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years of C# and .Net
- 2 + years of .Net MVC
- 3+ years of Microsoft SQL server 2012 stored procedure experience
- Experience and working knowledge of VB6
- Experience with SSIS 2012 and SSRS 2012
- Experience with Visual Studio 2012 and 2015
- Experience with .NET Framework 4.5
- Ability to understand VB6 code and make changes as needed
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience with JQuery,CSS3,HTML5,JavaScript or similar technologies
- Experience with Entity Framework / ADO.NET
- Experience with 3 tier architecture
- Rapid Application Development - can turn around changes based on requirements in reasonable time and can alter/enhance code based on review based on short sprints.
- Experience working in a VMware environment
- Knowledgeable of the firewall, networks and Windows servers
- Experience working with Team Foundation Server and/or Rational Team Concert
