Sapient Level & Job Title: Sr. Developer
Location: On-site Plano, Texas
Duration :6+ Months Contract
Main duties and responsibilities: Client is a well-known name in the retail industry. They will be part of production support team. They will be working on the client's website, looking at the production incidents and doing analysis of issues; they are to expedite these analyses and issues to the Dev team, and resolve by end of each day. It's a very hands on job. Not the right position for architect candidates.
Skills Needed:
• 1+ years of experience with Oracle ATG Web Commerce
• 5+ years of experience developing in Java technologies with extensive OO design and programming skills
• 2+ years of experience developing and using RESTful APIs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of web-related standards and prevailing architectural styles and constraints, including REST, HATEOAS, Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS), OAuth 2.0 and more.
• 2+ years of Java Spring Framework development
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams
Preferred: Retail industry experience
