Role: Salesforce Developer

Location: St. Paul, MN

Duration: 6 Months

 

 

MANAGER NOTES: This is a coding role, not a "click & configure" role.

 

This is an interactive, agile team that performs monthly releases. They are in the midst of a global roll-out to over 6K users.

 

The CRM Application Developer is responsible for strategy, solutions and delivery of applications that support the Salesforce.com CRM platform for the Global Business Solutions. This application area includes CRM,

SalesForce, mobile and other sales channel technologies. This position partners with the business, IT and 3rd party solution partners to develop these applications which will be will be leveraged across the organization

and integrated with other corporate divisions globally.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

        Ability to communicate and interact with internal clients, assess business challenges and collaboratively define solutions to address key business problems.

        Proactively provide ideas and solutions towards the improvement of business processes and operations

        Responsible for the scalability, robustness, and reliability of all solutions within this application area.

        Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including IT management, development teams and end users.

        Evaluate, suggest and implement third party software as needed.

        Pro-actively consult industry best practices in software design and integration solutions

        Leverage Premiere Support and other Salesforce.com consults for trouble shooting and seeking new solutions

        Proven ability to lead the development effort of technology solutions

        Possesses wide breadth of technical/functional expertise and knowledge as well as business intelligence and awareness

        Ability to make sound decisions, communicate changes, updates and new development to the CRM team and IT

        Managing complex workflow rules, data validation, and system triggers.

        Applying functional knowledge and technical expertise in the implementation and maintenance of custom Salesforce.com applications

        Provide ongoing code-level maintenance and support for all Salesforce.com user groups.

        Knowledge of migration tool ( ant /eclipse/ for.com explorer)

        Perform unit testing of all code written

 

Requirements:    

                             

        6+ years of technical development experience

        3+ years Force.com development Experience

        Experience with coding, development and testing of enterprise wide applications

        CRM Full Life Cycle Software Development experience

        Experience with the implementation of custom objects, workflow rules, and approval process

        Experience creating triggers, Apex classes, VF-Pages, and Visual Components

        On-premise infrastructure integration experience with Force.com platform and JavaScript

        Salesforce.com administration and customization experience

        Java based web application development experience

        Object oriented design and programming experience

        Strong research, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

        Adm 201 Certification

        Dev 401 Certification

        Experience in driving SalesForce strategy and has owned solution delivery

        Experience in developing Win and Web Forms
