Perl Developer

Location: Groton, CT

Duration: 3+ Months

Years of Experience 5+ JD

•       Lead the technical implementation of all requested application changes.

•       Address critical issues at onsite.

•       Review and test the deliverables before handing to clients.

•       Provide regular updates to the customer on the ongoing work.

•       Provide technical solutions to the problems/enhancements.

•       Client management and coordination with various stakeholder teams in the project Mandatory skills

•       Strong skills in Perl, Mod-Perl and associated technologies.

•       Knowledge of CGI, Shell Scripting.

•       Knowledge of SAS.

•       Knowledge in Red-hat Linux.

•       Knowledge of HTML, JQuery and JavaScript.

•       Hands-on experience in troubleshooting performance issues.

•       Excellent and matured communication skills required at client side and interpersonal skills.

Good to have skills

•       Prior Experience of working in a large support and maintenance environment.

•       Knowledge of performance tuning tools.

•       Good knowledge in Oracle 10g or higher (PL/SQL).

•       Experience with large, global health science applications

•       Trend and impact analysis to recommend remediation / improvements based on their implications on IT maintenance and business use. Domain Life Sciences - Clinical and Pharma domain
