Explanation for Position:
Experienced DB2 LUW DBA position required to support a deployment. Job
responsibilities include support, development of best practices, mentoring junior
staff, development of silent installation packages.
Details of Position:
This position is for an experienced DB2 LUW DBA who has supported both Linux
and Windows environments. The DBA should be versed in DB2 LUW internals,
backup/recovery, BCP (HADR and SA MP), administration, installation and
performance tuning. Installation and configuration of DB2 Connect also part of job
duties. Additionally, Windows experience with .Net Visual Studio would be a plus.
Management Skills: The person will be helping to set technical direction for the team, so good
communication skills (both written and oral) are important.
