Location: San Jose, CA or Rocklin (near Sacramento), CA

Job Description
Embedded Software Engineer:
- Core Embedded Linux or RTOS Software Development
- Works with other development centers worldwide in USA and Europe.
- Works closely with local and global SQA teams
Main Tasks:
- Software Design and Development on Embedded Linux / Real-Time OS based electronic payment devices.
- Adhere to R&D software development process
Qualification:
- Minimum 4 year primary degree in computer science or EE or equivalent
Experience:
Essential
- 2 to 4 years working in Linux development environment or in a RTOS environment.
- Fluent in C programming in RTOS environment
- Security/Encryption technologies
· Experience in using cryptography (e.g. AES, DES, RSA, ECC) to protect data
· Software assurance e.g. coding techniques to reduce buffer overflows, and footprint of sensitive data
· Payment software experience
- Experience with source control systems (e.g. GIT)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
Desirable:
- MS in EE or Computer Science.
Experience in
- Embedded Linux development
- Linux driver development
- Embedded RTOS driver or Linux Display/USB/Bluetooth/WiFi/2G/3G radio driver experience
