BI Reports Developer

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

 • Relevant experience and high proficiency in microsoft SQL server reporting and analysis services.
•  Strong experience in Oracle(PL/SQL) and T-SQL (e.g constructing triggers, tables, user functions, views, indexes, stored procedures)
•  5 years or more developer experience in a corporate or large non profit setting.
•  Working knowledge of MIcrosoft SQL server Integration Services(SSIS) and Sharepoint.
•  Experience with complete systems development  life cycle process.
• Atleat 5+ years of experience with SSAS,SSIS and PL/SQL
• Ability to write detailed documentation (use cases, configuration instructions and models) for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of Data warehousing concepts
• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Roles and responsibility

• Participate in the assessment of customer requirements, determine feasibility and document results
• Draft technical specifications based on functional requirements
• Develop BI applications- highly complicated SSPS reports (drill through, drill down, parameters, sub reports etc) ,SSAS analysis cubes and dashboards
• Provide PL/SQL and T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, packages to support front-end BI applications.
• Create SSIS packages to transfer data from SQL server to Oracle database.
• Perform Unit testing
• Assist in the creation and enhancement of design and development standards.
• Ensure in depth application Testing and integrate quality in all work
• Provide User and technical application documentation

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills

A BI report developer to assess user requirements and work with BI team in developing and maintaining reports ,cubes and dashboards.And the application involves integration of SAP BI warehouse and Oracle data warehouse and sql server.The  developer must have expert experience in Microsoft server BI stack including reporting services(SSRS) and analysis services(SSAS) and strong experience in  Oracle (PL/SQL) and SQL server (t-SQL) and working knowledge of SSIS and sharepoint.
