| Key Skills : | The candidate should have the following core skill set: • At least 6-8 years of strong working experience in the design and development of applications using Data Virtualization technologies. Experience in Cisco Information Server (CIS, formerly known as Composite) is a plus. • Strong working experience in developing conceptual and logical data models for application databases and meta-data repositories. • Canonical data & service modeling concepts. • Knowledge of SOA, with special focus on service normalization. • Knowledge of publish-subscribe mechanisms for data services. • Experience in developing strategies for data acquisitions, developing data structures and associated data policies • Experience in developing governance processes for managing services (version control), support services, monitoring and evaluation of services. • Experience in WSDL, X-Query, XSLT transformations and XML coding for data transformation, retrieval and delivery • Must demonstrate a clear understanding of the logical and physical database design (for both transactional and data warehouse) and data normalization concepts Technologies: Programming Languages: ANSI-SQL, JAVA Database: Oracle 10g/11g, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and above Operating Systems: Unix, Linux Design Language: UML, Visio, Erwin 9.x and above, Tools: CISCO Information Server (CIS) v6.x and above, Informatica 9.0.x, Business Objects, Tableau Desired: • Experience in CIS application administration tasks • Experience in the integration of published CIS objects with Front end application like Java, Business Objects, Tableau, Crystal reports and MS-access • Experience in various development methodology like Agile/Scrum development methodology • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Strong diplomatic, interpersonal and teamwork skills. • Maturity to participate in multiple complex programs at the same time in an agile environment |
