Job Title : Voice QA Engineer with SIP Experience
Location : Pasadena, CA
Duration : 6+Months Contract
Must really be hands on with test automation and know SIP well
About the Position:
This position offers the right candidate an opportunity to participate in two of the fastest growing segments of the Internet – SaaS and the Cloud! Get in on the ground floor at Everbridge, the market leader for Incident Management and Communications solutions.
Job Duties:
Capturing and reading SIP traces for voice calls
Hands on voice quality automation in either Python, Perl, or Bash.
Understanding and execution of best testing practices
Reproduce, diagnose, and document software defects
Collaborate with software developers to communicate defects and offer suggestions.
Basic Qualifications:
6+ years performing in a Quality Assurance role
2+ years' test automation experience with open source tools is a strong plus
2+ years' experience with VOIP technologies such as SIP, RTP or MRCP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze requirements, and design suitable test cases
Ability to develop and execute test plans successfully
Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as needed
Detail oriented with attention to proper defect creation specifics
Education:
BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent
