Experience :
Core technologist with 8-10 years of IT experience leading technical designs and solution development
Possesses extensive technical breadth with technical depth in one or more select disciplines.
Insurance Industry experience is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with wide-ranging application and systems integration technologies
Can conduct in-depth research and analysis of client applications and data across multiple dimensions (Technology Stack, Technical Design, Code, Integration etc.) to identifyfunctional overlap, code reuse, and quality
Conversant with best practices related to software technical design and code development and governance
Provide technical guidance on design approaches, technologies and frameworks (Java/.NET and front end) needed to develop robust solutions
Able to work closely with clients to provide technical leadership, collaborate on architecture and design, etc.
Directly lead the development of software platforms and products, including hands-on engineering where required
Provide broad expertise with development tools, dev-ops tools and frameworks
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Hands-on design and architecture skills. Expertise architecting, designing and building enterprise solutions
Software engineering foundation. Demonstrates strong foundation in Software Engineering, Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) concepts.
Core technical skills. Has expertise in any of the core distributed platforms and technologies such as Java J2EE, .Net,SOA, SaaS, JavaScript, XML
Solution-oriented mindset. Demonstrates ability to adopt solution-oriented approaches to systematically analyze and deliver end-to-end solutions around complex systems integration, legacy modernization, or other transformational programs.
Creative problem solving skills. Demonstrates hands-on creativity and critical thinking necessary to develop innovative ideas and find fresh approaches for problem solving.
Excellent communication and persuasion skills. Has strong facilitation and communication skills (verbal and written) to quickly command an audience at all levels, navigate organizational structures, and influence successful outcomes.
Other Skills (desired):
Domain skills and certification. Understanding of major trends, technologies, and standards as it pertains to one of these Industry segments: Insurance, Healthcare or Life Sciences.

Ability to participate in technology strategy and roadmap to modernize existing policy administration systems and related peripheral applications into future state business aligned capabilities with wide-ranging regional and local systems integrations
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of client applications and data across multiple dimensions (Technology Stack, Technical Architecture, DevOps, Integration etc.) to identify future state remediation patterns for existing capabilities or assets
Provide technical guidance on architectural approaches, design patterns, technologies and frameworks (Java/.NET and front end) needed to build robust solutions
Architect and design world class technical solutions
Able to work closely with clients to provide technical leadership, collaborate on architecture and design, etc.
Directly lead the development of software platforms and products, including hands-on engineering where required
