Role: HealthCare Business Analyst
Location: Woodlands, TX
Duration: 6-12+ months
• Technology Lead - US - HealthCare Business Analyst (Clinical Data, eMR, Lab Data & Claims Data)
1. Start Date : 17th Oct
2. Period : 6 months to 1 year
Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science.
• Healthcare Clinical and /or claims domain expertise
• Exposure to
• Understanding of data warehousing and data management in healthcare environment
• Ability to interact directly with clinical/researcher/business teams to understand and document functional requirements
Primary Skills
• Working knowledge of healthcare EMR/EHR/Healthcare claims data
• Hands on knowledge of clinical and health economics related analytics (HEOR- Health Economic and outcome research).
• Understanding of data warehousing and data management in healthcare environment
• Basic understanding of healthcare interoperability especially in Claims, eMR, Clinical and Lab applications.
• Exposure to clinical terminologies like ICD9, ICD 10, CPT4, SNOMED
• Experience with HIPAA, and knowledge of PII best practices
• At least 4-6 years of experience in executing IT projects with 2 years of Business analysis expertise in healthcare analytics environment.
• Business analysis skills with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, documentation and presentation skill is required.
• The work profile should reflect close to 100% customer satisfaction.
• Strong Time Management skill is mandatory and multi-tasking is expected.
• Ready to utilize knowledge base and experience in order to understand the processes and steps and support customer consistently
Additional Responsibilities
• Working under general supervision, build and maintain strategic partnerships between internal and external resources, to assist in the delivery of successful Healthcare analytics applications.
• Evolve as a SME on healthcare clinical and claims data to support business stakeholders in conducting x- domain analytics
• Perform feasibility analysis of analytics questions leveraging available data assets (Clinical and Claims)
• Support in requirements analysis, and potential re-design of several products for use in the implementation and delivery of project solutions.
• Develops business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, tasks and workflow analysis
• Works collaboratively with Operations team members, clients, corporate IT, and other business partners in defining, designing, developing and implementing technology solutions to improve business functions
• Gathers, reviews and edits business, functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborates with project teams and customers to analyze information needs and communicates needed changes to the project team
• Collaborate with internal and external resources for scheduling time estimates
• Analyze data to assist in design requirement gathering with internal and external resources
