Description
Take direction from the team lead to test and automate new software projects through DevOps tools. Enhance existing tools and processes to improve customer experience and bill quality.
Deep knowledge of SDLC methodologies, billing systems, and MF/DB2 environments
Knowledge of QA, programming, system development on Mainframe/DB2 platform.
Perform bill validation and certification
Analyze issues and provide solutions/fixes
Automate manual jobs by developing scripts
Provide status reports and updates to project lead on regular basis
Support manual tested as needed
Technical skills:
5+ years of experience in DB/2 and DL/I
5+ years of experience in data analysis and resolving Abends
5+ years of programming experience in CICS, COBOL, COBOL II, DB/2, SQL/DS, QMF, REXX, JCL, VSAM
5+ years of experience with telecom billing domain
5+ years of experience in data extracts, load, masking process
Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills
Strong inter-personal skills
Exceptional problem solving skills
